Chris will provide you with simple tests you can give yourself to assess and create your own general strength training plan. He will guide you through this process created by the well-respected authors of Training for the Uphill Athlete, Steve House, Scott Johnston, and Kilian Jornet.
You will learn how to assess your leg, arm, and core strength and choose the right level of strength training to fit. Then you can return to this recording in the future to run the assessments to consider when to graduate to the next level. There’s no need for a gym membership - All he uses is a backpack, a $4 tube of sand, and a chair. A yoga mat and pullup bar can be upgrades.
