Learn How to Build a Personalized Strength Training Plan

We’re collaborating with Creatio to present at one of their monthly clinics. Tune in on Instagram Live or show up in person!

Chris will provide you with simple tests you can give yourself to assess and create your own general strength training plan. He will guide you through this process created by the well-respected authors of Training for the Uphill Athlete, Steve House, Scott Johnston, and Kilian Jornet.

You will learn how to assess your leg, arm, and core strength and choose the right level of strength training to fit. Then you can return to this recording in the future to run the assessments to consider when to graduate to the next level. There’s no need for a gym membership - All he uses is a backpack, a $4 tube of sand, and a chair. A yoga mat and pullup bar can be upgrades.

Creatio 3rd Saturday Adventure: Forsythe Canyon

We’ll be taking our normal Saturday Brunch Group Run and joining Creatio on their 3rd Saturday Adventure!

This month, there will be a short hike at Forsythe Canyon Trailhead, just up the hill from Boulder. Come out, meet some good people in the open air, and listen to a reflection from Chris! Ask him about some amazing winter running nearby! He will run his long run nearby after the event for anyone who wants to join.

You are encouraged to invite anyone else you would like to join us. Literally everyone is welcome and the hike should be fairly accessible to all abilities. Here is the text from their facebook event:

Join us in hiking to a frozen waterfall (that is if it doesn’t melt in the next few weeks)! It is a 3.0 mile out and back to the waterfall and Gross Reservoir. Please be sure to RSVP.

Saturday Brunch Group Run

Come meet your community! Bring two friends!

We'll take an easy 60 minute run on the Two Brands trail loop before returning to the trailhead for some fellowship with masks and physical distance. 

Stay a while! Feel free to bring a chair and something to snack on, AND there's nothing wrong with only joining for the run either!

Trail running is considered low risk, but we require all appropriate COVID-19 precautions to maintain safety.
